What we collect
When you submit a quote request on this site, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, the size of the group you want trained, your timing, and anything you choose to add in the notes field.
Separately from that form, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are in the world, which site or search engine sent them, and on which page someone sent a quote request or tapped our phone number or email address (only that it happened and on which page, never the details). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. It tells us about visits, not about you: we do not use it to identify individual visitors, we do not combine it with the details you submit through the quote form, and we do not use it for advertising or remarketing. You can opt out for every site you visit with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move through the site, so we can fix pages that are confusing or hard to use. It records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as anonymous session replays and heatmaps, and sets cookies to do so. What you type into the quote form is masked and never recorded. As with Google Analytics, we do not use it to identify you or for advertising. Microsoft describes how it handles this data in its privacy statement. Blocking cookies for this site also stops Clarity.
How we use it
Information you submit is used only to respond to your enquiry — to prepare a quote, schedule training, or answer your question. We do not sell, rent or trade it to anyone. We do not use it for marketing beyond following up on the enquiry you made, and you can ask us to stop at any time by contacting us at info@syonsafety.com.
Where it goes
Submissions are sent directly to Syon Safety to action your request. We use ordinary business tools — email, and scheduling software where applicable — to do that, and we do not share your information with any other third party except where the law requires it.
Our website runs on hosting infrastructure in the United States. If an enquiry cannot be delivered by email, its contents are written to our hosting provider’s technical logs so that the enquiry is not lost and we can still respond to you. Those logs are accessible only to the people who maintain the site, and are deleted on the provider’s standard retention schedule.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is useful for the business relationship it relates to, and delete it when it is no longer needed for that purpose or for a legal or accounting obligation.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting info@syonsafety.com or calling 647-261-7805. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle information changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
